TV director/producer drops $1.575M in Malibu

Dennis Principe bought a three-bedroom, four-bath home at 31834 Broad Beach Road in Malibu from Wachovia Mortgage and World Savings Bank for $1.575 million on Sept. 19.

The 1,388-square-foot house was built in 1976.

Principe is co-executive producer of "Whacked Out Videos," which is aired over MyNetworkTV. The show premiered in January and features hilarious videos from around the world.

He also has worked for ABK Productions, directing hit comedies including "Ally McBeal" and "Big Box."

He also has worked in the editorial and production departments of a number of TV reality shows such as "The 5th Wheel," "Blind Date" and "Hollywood's Amazing Animal Actors."

There have been 112 home sales in Malibu in 2008, with median sales price of $2,497,500.
