Frank Sinatra Jr. sells for $2.465M in Beverly Crest

Frank Sinatra Jr. sold a five-bedroom, four-bath at 3171 Toppington Dr. in Beverly Crest to Andrew M. Katzenstein and the Purse Coin Trust for $2.465 million on Oct. 17.

Sinatra paid $1.795 million for the property in June 2002. The 3,361-square-foot house was built in 1977.

Sinatra is the son of the famous musician and actor, Frank Sinatra. He was a singer and actor, who has appeared on episodes of such television programs as "Son of the Beach," "The Love Boat" and "Marcus Welby, M.D."

He has also worked as his father's musical director and conductor and has been a regular performer in Las Vegas. He studied Music at the University of Southern California.

Katzenstein works as a partner in the personal planning department of Proskauer Rose in Los Angeles. He specializes in estate, gift and generation-skipping tax planning, income tax of trust planning and probate and trust administration matters.

He has worked as a professor at the UCLA Law School, the University of San Diego and the Golden Gate University. He completed his B.A. at the University of Michigan, his J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School and his LL.M. at the University of San Diego.

There have been 154 home sales in Beverly Crest in 2008, with a median sales price of $1,395,000.
