Actors drop $1.55M in Hollywood

Jeremy Renner and Kristoffer Winters bought a five-bedroom, four-bath house at 8050 Selma Ave. in Hollywood from Judith Beckman for $1.55 million on Nov. 1.

Renner is an actor who has appeared in films like 28 Weeks Later, North Country, Lords of Dogtown and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

He's also made television appearances on "House, M.D.," "CSI" and "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane."

Winters is also an actor with television credits including "Saving Grace," "House, M.D." and "7th Heaven." His film resume includes Primary Colors, Under the Tuscan Sun and The Sweetest Thing.

Both actors appeared in the 2008 war drama The Hurt Locker, which also stars Ralph Fiennes and Guy Pearce. Renner picked up an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead actor for his role in the film.

There were 547 home sales in Hollywood in 2008, with a median sales price of $952,500.
