Fox sitcom stars pocket $2.28M in Los Feliz

Laura Prepon and Christopher Kennedy Masterson sold a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 2321 Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz to Jesse Bonderman for $2.28 million on Dec. 2.

Prepon and Masterson bought the property for $1.675 million in Oct. 2003.

Prepon, 28, is best known for her long-running stint as Donna Pinciotti on the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show." Prepon played the girl-next-door love interest of lead character Eric Forman for eight seasons before the show concluded in 2006 and after a total of 200 episodes. The show was nominated for a series of Emmy Awards during its run, and Prepon netted two Teens Choice Awards for her work.

She also appeared on the short-lived ABC drama "October Road," which debuted in 2007. The show revolved around an author who returns to his hometown to confront the people on which his hit book was based, including Prepon's character, Hannah Daniels.

Prepon has also lent her voice to episodes of Fox mainstays "American Dad!" and "King of the Hill." She has also made brief excursions into film, most recently in the 2006 crime thriller Karla. She is originally from New Jersey.

Prepon paid $2.317 million for a home in Griffith Park in May 2008.

That '70s Show creator Mark Brazil spent $2.91 million for a Los Angeles home in February.

Masterson, 28, is an actor best known for his stint as eldest brother Francis on the Fox sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle." He appeared in 150 episodes of the show from 2000-06, though his character spent the bulk of the series in boarding school away from the family.

His film career includes roles in the 2008 adventure The Art of Travel and the upcoming romantic comedy Made for Each Other. The film also stars his brother Danny, who famously starred along side of Prepon as Steven Hyde on "That 70's Show."

There were 179 home sales in Griffith Park/Los Feliz in 2008, with median sales price of $945,000.
