Actor French Stewart asking $4.195M in Hollywood

Medium 5f9f522ab516296922fc031d0c50a951 Actor French Stewart and his wife, actress Katherine LaNasa, have listed for sale their four bedroom, five-bathroom home at 1400 N. Doheny Dr. in Hollywood for the asking price of $4.195 million.

Stewart and LaNasa paid $1.919 million for the home in Oct. 2000. The home was built in 1936.

Juliette Hohnen of Keller Williams Realty Beverly Hills is the listing agent for the property.

Stewart, 44, has an acting career in both television and film that dates back to the early 1990s. He's best known, however, as quirky extra-terrestrial Harry Solomon on the Emmy-winning NBC hit sitcom "Third Rock from the Sun," which ran from 1996 until 2001. He earned three Screen Actor's Guild nominations for the role, all in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

He's also starred in or lent his voice talents to the television programs "God, the Devil and Bob," "Misconceptions," "Hercules," and the short-lived 1990s sitcom "The New WKRP in Cincinnati." His feature films include Inspector Gadget 2 and Dog Gone. He's originally from Albuquerque, N.M.

LaNasa, 43, has a lengthy acting career in television that includes appearances on hit shows like "Judging Amy," "The Guardian," "NYPD Blue," "Almost Perfect" and "Two and a Half Men." She also starred as a police officer who made Jerry Seinfeld take a polygraph test about his knowledge of "Melrose Place" on a memorable episode of "Seinfeld," and in the short-lived drama "Three Sisters" with Dyan Cannon in 2001-02.

She's also slated to appear on upcoming 2010 episodes of the HBO hit "Big Love." She's originally from New Orleans.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 451 home sales in Hollywood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $725,000.
