It was once owned by singers and former couple, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, and was used as the location for their reality show, Newlyweds.

Mr. Berfield is an actor, best known for his portrayal of the character Reese on the TV sitcom, Malcom in the Middle. He also appeared in the TV series, The Boys Are Back and The Mommies. In his career, he has also worn the writer and co-producer hats.
