Graphic designer nets $1.12M in Fairfax/Mid-City West

Medium 814427d0a3e170003a9d235f51a88b7c Scott Denton Cardew and Jill Jennifer Wendell bought a three-bedroom, two-bath at 615 N. Edinburgh Ave. in Fairfax/Mid-City West from Peter and Alexandra Marx for $1.12 million on Dec. 16.

Mr. Marx paid $560,000 for the property in March 2000. The 1,749-square-foot house was built in 1928.

Mr. Cardew is a graphic designer and the owner of the multi-disciplinary design company Denton-Cardew Design in Los Angeles. He most recently served as a consultant head of design at 180 LA. Prior to that, he was a design director for Nike.

He has a B.A. in visual communication design from the Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 202 home sales in Fairfax/Mid-City West during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $812,500.
