Andre Aboolian and Lara Hovanessian bought a seven-bedroom, five-bath home at 1460 Melwood Drive in Glendale from Christopher Alan Berry and Jacqueline Curry Berry for $1.655 million on Feb. 11.

The property was previously acquired for $1.425 million in Jan. 2003. The 4,412-square-foot house, which was built in 1927, is in Greenbriar.

Dr. Aboolian is a board certified plastic surgeon. He performs plastic and reconstructive surgery and also provides cosmetics care and skin treatment services. He is featured on TY shows such as "The Biggest Loser" and "Extreme Makeover." In addition, he is also a magazine contributor.

He graduated from the University of California - Los Angeles and received a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He had a residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston and at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,081 home sales in Glendale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $469,000.
