Katherine Grace Jarvis and Anthony Ross Piro bought a five-bedroom, four-bath at 5015 Fairbanks Way in Culver City from Robert and Debra Montgomery for $1.185 million on May 19.

The 2,994-square-foot home in Studio Village was built in 1993.

Jarvis is the president of Jarvis Communications, Inc., a Los Angeles-based public relations firm. She most recently served as executive director at Wagstaff Worldwide, Inc., a restaurant, travel and wine public relations firm. Prior to that, she created strategic public relations plans for restaurant and travel clients such as the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, White Lotus in Hollywood, Le Dome in Los Angeles and the South Australian Tourism Commission. She has also worked in fine wine auctions in Chicago for Davis & Company Wine Auctioneers and Lionstone International.

She has a B.A. in history and Latin American Studies from Northwestern University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 232 home sales in Culver City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $490,000.
