Reality show contestants settle in Calabasas for $3M

Medium 78c106dbb47372832f12a9591e17cb89 Katie Cleary-Stern and Andrew Stern bought a six-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 5603 Sloan Place in Calabasas from David Oppenheim and Kinzie Oppenheim for $3 million on Nov. 18.

The Oppenheims paid $2.43 million for the property in Nov. 2005. The 7,329-square-foot house was built in 1993 in West Calabasas.

Katie Stern was a contestant during the first season of "America's Next Top Model". She also appeared as a briefcase model for "Deal or No Deal" for more than three years.

Andrew Stern is an internet entrepreneur who co-founded RipLounge.com, a 3D social networking site. He appeared in the second season of "The Millionaire Matchmaker".

David Oppenheim is a lawyer in private practice. He has been in the industry for 24 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 27 home sales in Calabasas during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.61 million.
