Jeopardy's Trebek deals Studio City 4BD for $1.64M

Medium 8c91fba366df354292b25ed31c9d1734 Alex Trebek sold a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 3355 Fryman Road in Studio City to Bruce M. Eliot and Denise O. Eliot for $1.64 million on Dec. 2.

The 4,068-square-foot house was built in 1959.

Trebek is the host of the NBC game show "Jeopardy" Prior to that, he hosted several NBC shows, including: "Pitfall'" "High Rollers," "Classic Concentration," "To Tell the Truth," and for a very short time, "Good Morning America."

He is a recipient of five Emmy Awards, a gold medal from Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and a lifetime achievement award from the Daytime Emmy Awards.

He graduated from Malvern Collegiate Institute and received a philosophy degree from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Bruce Eliot is the chief information officer at Managed Account Reports Inc., a business reporting and analysis services provider. He is also the CIO and managing member of investment firm Mulholland Capital LLC. He was previously affiliated with Houlihan, Lokey, Howard and Zukin Investment Management Inc. as a co-founder and at Security Pacific Bank as a placement specialist.

He received an economics degree from Claremont McKenna College and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago.

Denise Eliot has been a consultant at Eliot College Consulting, a college admissions advisory and assistance firm.

She received a bachelor's degree in psychology and economics from Claremont McKenna College and an M.B.A in finance from the University of California - Los Angeles.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 512 home sales in Studio City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $660,000.
