Sports equipment exec pays $1.799M in Santa Monica

Christopher R. Norqual bought the three-bedroom, four-bath condo Unit #1 at 838 10th St. in Santa Monica from John Louis Davimos for $1.799 million on March 4.

The 2,779-square-foot condo, which was built in 2002, is in the Wilshire Montana neighborhood.

Norqual is the product manager with Easton Hockey, a division of Easton-Bell Sports, Inc., a worldwide leader in branded sports equipment.

He played college hockey at Amherst University, where he earned his bachelor's in history. He also played professionally in Germany.

There were 304 condo sales in Santa Monica in 2008, with a median sales price of $641,500.
