Trevor Ariza bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 5848 Tampa Ave. in Tarzana from Irene and Yury Gampel for $1.399 million on Aug. 18, 2005.

The 4,176-square-foot home was built in 2002.

Ariza is a professional basketball player with the NBA's New York Knicks. The team selected him in the second round of the 2004 NBA Draft.

He played in 80 games in his rookie season, starting 12 contests and averaging 17.3 minutes per game. He scored 5.9 points and averaged 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

Prior to his NBA career, Ariza attended Westchester High School in Los Angeles and was part of the school's California State championship team his junior year. He played one season of college ball with the UCLA Bruins, averaging 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for a team that finished the season 11-17.
