Mr. Ondrasik is a singer/songwriter and the voice of the pop/adult contemporary act Five for Fighting. He debuted in 1997 but made headlines and waves on the pop charts in 2001, when the song "Superman (It's Not Easy)" rose to No. 14 on the U.S Hot 100 chart and No. 2 on the adult contemporary chart. The strength of that single led the album "America Town" to become certified platinum.
His 2004 follow-up, "The Battle for Everything," featured the hit single "100 Years," which was the longest running No. 1 single on the adult contemporary charts that year, spending 12 weeks at No. 1. The album debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 album chart and eventually became certified platinum.
He also released the 2006 album "Two Lights" and this year's "Slice."
