"That '70s Show" starlett Prepon buys in L.A.

Actress Laura Prepon bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 1927 N. Normandie Ave. in Los Angeles for $2.317 million from Jocelyn and Raymond Smith on May 22.

The Smiths paid $348,500 for the property in Dec. 1996. The home was completed earlier this year.

Prepon, 28, is best known for her long-running stint as Donna Pinciotti on the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show." Prepon played the girl-next-door love interest of lead character Eric Forman for eight seasons before the show concluded in 2006 and after a total of 200 episodes. The show was nominated for a series of Emmy Awards during its run, and Prepon netted two Teens Choice Awards for her work.

She can also currently be seen on the ABC drama "October Road," which debuted in 2007. The show revolves around an author who returns to his hometown to confront the people on which his hit book was based, including Prepon's character, Hannah Daniels.

Prepon has also lent her voice to episodes of Fox mainstays "American Dad!" and "King of the Hill." She has also made brief excursions into film, most recently in the 2006 crime thriller Karla. She is originally from New Jersey.

That '70s Show creator Mark Brazil spent $2.91 million for a Los Angeles home in February.
