Rent actor spends $1M in Bel Air

Adam Pascal and his wife, Cybele, bought a three-bedroom, one-bath at 8525 Appian Way in Bel Air for $1 million from Theo Cohan, David S. Feldman and Theo C. Feldman on May 12.

Theo Cohan paid $800,000 for the home in Dec. 2004. It was built in 1950.

Mr. Pascal, 37, is an actor and singer best known for his Tony-nominated role as Roger Davis in the Broadway production of the hit musical Rent. He received the nomination in 1996 for the role of Roger, an aspiring singer-songwriter living with AIDS. Pascale left the cast in 1997, but went on to reprise the role for the musical's London shows and in the 2005 film adaptation directed by Chris Columbus.

He also appeared as Radames in the Broadway musical Aida, penned by Tim Rice and music legend Elton John, and has film credits including the 2003 comedy School of Rock and the 1998 comedy SLC Punk. He is slated to appear in a leading role next year in the musical comedy Goyband.

He also has two albums to his credit as a solo artist. He is originally from Long Island, N.Y.

Mrs. Pascal is the author of The Whole Foods Allergy Cookbook, which offers recipes for people with various food allergies.
