Michael E. Hissrich and Lauren E. Schmidt bought a two-bedroom, two-bath at 3145 La Suvida Dr. in Hollywood from Richard Motter and David Vessey for $1.65 million on Nov. 7.

Motter and Vessey paid $890,000 for the property in Sept. 2002. The 2,727-square-foot house was built in 1928.

Hissrich was a producer of "The West Wing," the Emmy-winning NBC political drama that ran from 1999 to 2006. He has also served as an associate producer of "E.R.", as co-producer of "Trinity" and "Third Watch" and as producer of "Presidio Med."

He currently works on the NBC drama "My Own Worst Enemy," starring Christian Slater.

There have been 25,861 sales in Los Angeles in 2008, with a median price of $441,000.
