"Grey's Anatomy" hunk drops $1.9M in Studio City

Jeffrey Dean Morgan bought a five-bedroom, five-bath at 4176 Farmdale Ave. in Studio City from Meytal and Eli Bachar for $1.9 million on Dec. 4.

Bachar paid $935,000 for the property in Feb. 2008.

Morgan is an actor best known for his role as heart transplant patient Denny Duquette on the hit ABC show "Grey's Anatomy." Morgan's character died in the finale of the second season, but has had recurring appearances as a ghost. He's appeared in 21 episodes of the hospital drama since 2006.

He also starred in the CW show "Supernatural" from 2005-08, and has appeared on the hit Showtime comedy "Weeds." His film roles include turns in P.S. I Love You and in the upcoming adaptation of Watchmen, based on the award-winning graphic novel. He's originally from Seattle.

There were 403 sales in Studio City in 2008, with a median price of $759,000.
