Mark Duplass, Katie Duplass and Lawrence J. Duplass bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 3636 Amesbury Road in Griffith Park/Los Feliz from Roger Neill and Lisa Sergi for $1.745 million on Dec. 10.

Neill and Sergi paid $844,000 for the property on May 2002. The 2,461-square-foot home was built in 1940.

Mr. Duplass is an actor perhaps best known for his role in the 2009 low-budget comedy Hump Day, a critically-acclaimed independent film in which two old friends aspire to take their friendship to new heights for the sake of art. He can also be seen in the new FX series "The League," and is slated to appear in this year's Greenberg, the newest film from director Noah Baumbach, also starring Ben Stiller.

Mrs. Duplass is an actress who also appears in "The League" and who starred with Mr. Duplass in the 2005 independent comedy The Puffy Chair. She was also a runner-up in the 1995 Miss Teen USA pageant.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 129 home sales in Griffith Park/Los Feliz during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $850,000.
