Real estate firm founder buys in Beverly Hills for $4.5M

Kurt Rappaport and Juliette Rappaport bought the four-bedroom, four-bath home at 622 N. Hillcrest Road in Beverly Hills from Benhour Soleimani for $4.5 million on Jan. 15.

Soleimani paid $3.996 million for the property in July 2004. The 4,355-square-foot house was built in 1926 in Central Beverly Hills.

Mr. Rappaport is a partner with and co-founder of Westside Estate Agency (WEA), which has offices in Beverly Hills and Malibu. He focuses on high-end real estate sales.

Prior to establishing WEA, he was with Merrill Lynch Realty, Fred Sands Estates, and Stan Herman, Stephen Shapiro and Associates. He attended the University of Southern California.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 171 home sales in Beverly Hills during the past 12 months, with a median price of $1.825 million.
