Scarlett Johansson asking $4.95M for Hollywood pad

Medium 1916700a19f871d8d7ef8adf96f47177 Actress Scarlett Johansson has listed for sale her four bedroom, 5.5-bath at 7222 Senalda Road in Hollywood for the asking price of $4.95 million.

Johansson paid $7 million for the home in May 2007. The 4,352-square-foot home was built in 1931.

Brett Lawyer of Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent for the property.

Johansson, 25, is one of the leading young actresses of Hollywood, with a film career dating back to a breakout performance in the 1998 Robert Redford drama The Horse Whisperer. She's since established herself as a Hollywood regular, thanks to roles in hits like Ghost World, Lost in Translation, Girl with a Pearl Earring, and In Good Company, as well as a quartet of Woody Allen films including a Golden Globe-nominated effort in the 2005 sensual thriller Match Point.

She also delved into romantic comedy in the 2009 ensemble hit He's Just Not That Into You, and will appear as Black Widow in this year's big-budget sequel Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey, Jr.

She also released her debut album of mostly Tom Waits cover songs in May 2008, and married actor Ryan Reynolds in September of that year. She was named the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine in 2006 and later earned the 2007 honor of "Sexiest Celebrity" from Playboy.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 473 home sales in Hollywood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $750,000.
