Lory and Kurt Bierschenk bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 16933 Livorno Drive in Pacific Palisades from Ina E. Gadliauskas for $1.25 million on May 3.

Gadliauskas paid $530,000 for the property in Sept. 1997. The 1,632-square-foot house was built in 1948.

Ms. Bierschenk has been a paralegal at Greene Broillet & Wheeler, a law firm specializing in representing consumers and injured victims against corporations and insurance companies.

She attended the University of California-Santa Barbara.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 227 home sales in Pacific Palisades during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.625 million.
