Jason Statham buys Stiller's Hollywood home for $7.325M

Medium 1af22800d13697b4a1477b3663b5e80a Jason Statham bought a six-bedroom, six-bath home at 2427 Castilian Drive in Hollywood from Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor for $7.325 million on Aug. 24.

Stiller and Taylor first listed it for sale in 2009 for $12.5 million. They paid $1.825 million for the property in Dec. 1999. The 5,334-square-foot home was built in 1929.

Statham is an English actor known for playing the lead role in The Transporter, Death Race, Crank, The Bank Job and War. He also starred in the Guy Ritchie crime films Revolver, Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and had supporting roles in Mean Machine, The Italian Job and Cellular.

Stiller is a comedian, actor, writer, film director, and producer who, throughout his career, has written, starred in, directed, and produced over 50 films including Heavyweights (1995), There's Something About Mary, Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder and Greenberg, among others. He is a member of the Frat Pack, a group of male Hollywood comedy actors who have appeared together in many of the highest grossing comedy movies since the late 1990s. His parents are veteran comedians and actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.

Taylor has starred alongside Stiller in three films: Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, and Tropic Thunder. She co-starred with Mandy Moore in both Dedication and License To Wed, and with Drew Barrymore in the comedy The Wedding Singer. She has also played the role of Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch Movie and later in A Very Brady Sequel. Her TV credits include the series "Party Girl" and "Hey Dude." She also had guest appearances on "Ellen," "Seinfeld," "Friends," "Arrested Development," "My Name Is Earl" and "Hannah Montana."
