Daniel H. Rothenberg and Sarah H. Rothenberg bought a six-bedroom, six-bath home at 310 Bellefontaine St. in Pasadena from Rod Lurie and Gretchen Lurie for $2.283 million on Aug. 15.

The Luries paid $1.985 million for the property in April 2002. The 5,774-square-foot house, which was built in 1906, is in South Arroyo. It is located in the H. Hills subdivision.

Mr. Rothenberg is the senior vice president of investments at UBS Financial Services Inc., a global investment banking and securities firm. He was previously the financial adviser at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, a financial services provider.

He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in economics.

Mr. Lurie is an Israeli-American filmmaker and television producer, specializing in political and military subjects. He is also a director, screenwriter and former film critic.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,030 home sales in Pasadena during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $493,000.
