Investment banker nets $2.15M in Santa Monica

Medium 7affea439b2273c55b0f556c644fda68 Brian Lanktree bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 18 Sea Colony Drive in Santa Monica from Steven J. Borick and the estate of Louis L. Borick for $2.15 million on May 11.

The 2,299-square-foot condo is part of the Sea Colony I condo development in Ocean Park.

Lanktree is a director at Barclays Capital, an international investment bank. He previously served as an associate at Citigroup.

He attended the University of Notre Dame.

Steven Borick is the CEO and president of Superior Industries International Inc., a Van Nuys-headquartered OEM supplier of cast aluminum road wheels for the automotive industry. He previously served the company as COO and vice president of strategic planning. Prior to joining Superior, he was president of Texakota Inc. and general partner of Texakota Oil Co.

He graduated from Western State College with a B.A. in business administration.

Louis Borick was the founder of Superior Industries International Inc. He served the company as CEO and president.

He passed away in Nov. 2011.

Steven Borick previously sold a home at 8891 Collingwood Drive in Hollywood for $6 million in Nov. 2005.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 604 home sales in Santa Monica during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $855,000.
