Actress Kate Walsh bought the five-bedroom, four-bath home at 2223 Nottingham Ave. in Griffith Park/Los Feliz from Tom Fanning for $4.75 million on July 19, 2007.

Fanning paid $2.9 million for the 5,940-square-foot home in 2006.

Walsh, 39, is a film and television actress. Currently, Walsh portrays Dr. Addison Montgomery on the ABC show "Grey’s Anatomy." This fall she is slated to star in the show’s spin-off, "Private Practice."

Her first major television appearance was as Nicki on "The Drew Carey Show." She also played Will Ferrell’s wife in the 2005 film Kicking and Screaming, and had roles in Under the Tuscan Sun, Bewitched and Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie.

She attended the University of Arizona.
