Medium b3b15a9ced65e1e0ea0930dfb9f5ff92 Former UCLA and NFL quarterback Cade McNown has listed for sale a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 7933 Fareholm Dr. in Hollywood for $3.2 million.

McNown paid $3.499M for the property in May 2007.

Nancy Ross of Prudential California Realty is the listing agent for the property.

McNown, 32, spent fours seasons in the NFL after he was initially drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 12th pick overall in the 1999 NFL Draft. McNown spent two seasons in Chicago and appeared in 25 games for the Bears, but he was traded to the Miami Dolphins during the 2001 preseason. He never played for the Dolphins and was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2002, but he was released in 2003 without ever seeing action with the club. He retired the same year.

McNown was a starter for three full seasons at UCLA, where he led the Bruins to the Pac-10 title and a 10-2 record in 1998. He was a first-team All-American with the Bruins that season, and he finished third in the balloting for the Heisman Trophy. He also led the Bruins to a share of the Pac-10 title in 1997, and is still the only UCLA quarterback to finish 4-0 against cross-town foe USC.

He currently serves as a senior vice president of investor development with Irvine-based Thompson National Properties, LLC, a real estate investment firm. He was hired for the position in April 2008.

There were 534 home sales in Hollywood in 2008, with median price of $765,000.
