Transformers producer asking nearly $3M in Brentwood 4BD

Medium 0e8204844832cd77e9a11b2e778b6b3c Ian Bryce and Taylor G. Bryce have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 124 S. Anita Ave. in Brentwood for $2.986 million.

The Bryces bought the property for $1.35 million in Sept. 1996. The 3,900-square-foot house was built in 1929.

Tanya Memoli of Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent for the property.

Mr. Ian Bryce is a film producer with a career dating back to the 1980s. He's served as an executive producer or producer for a number of hit films, including Batman Returns, Speed, Saving Private Ryan, Almost Famous, Spider-Man and both installments of the recent Transformers franchise.

He was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 when Saving Private Ryan earned a Best Picture nomination. He started his career as a production assistant on the third installment of the first Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi.

There were 253 home sales in Brentwood in 2008, with a median sale price of $1,053,750.
