"The Office" actor John Krasinski asking $1.245M in West Hollywood

Medium 2da7f176773e1a0c11c4f774148cd22d Actor John Krasinski has listed for sale his three-bedroom, three-bath at 9040 Cynthia St. in West Hollywood for the asking price of $1.245 million.

Krasinski paid $1.05 million for the property in March 2006. The home was built in 1926.

Richard Ehrlich of Westside Estate Agency Inc. is the listing agent for the property.

Krasinski, 29, is a television and film actor best known for his long-running role as Jim Halpert, a disgruntled paper salesman on the Emmy-winning NBC smash "The Office." He's appeared on the show since it debuted in 2005, and won a pair of Screen Actors Guild awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2007 and 2008.

He's also delved into film since making his break on television, appearing most recently in this year's romantic comedy Away We Go, starring Maya Rudolph, Catherine O'Hara and Allison Janney. His other films include the 2008 comedy Leatherheads along side George Clooney and in License to Wed, a 2007 romantic comedy with Mandy Moore and Robin Williams. He also lent his voice to this year's animated hit Monsters vs. Aliens.

He'll make his directorial debut later this year with the John Foster Wallace adaptation Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, starring Timothy Hutton, Will Forte, Will Arnett and Ben Gibbard, the lead singer of pop band Death Cab for Cutie.

Krasinski is originally from Newton, Mass. and attended Brown University.

There were 233 home sales in West Hollywood in 2008, with a median sales price of $581,500.
