Soap actor, lifestyle reporter asking $2.695M in Encino

Medium cdea4b460484968a6febd56049b60d15 Jerry Douglas and wife, Kymberly Douglas, have listed for sale a five-bedroom, six-bath home at 17336 Rancho St. in Encino for $2.695 million.

The 5,335-square-foot house was built in 1951.

Harriet Cameron of Prudential California realty is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Douglas is an actor best known for his 15-year run as patriarch John Abbott on the daytime drama "The Young and the Restless." He joined the cast in 1985 and has appeared in 406 episodes of the hit show.

His other television credits include appearances on "The Rockford Files," "The Streets of San Francisco," "House Calls," "Hill Street Blues," "Hunter," "Night Watch" and "Mission: Impossible."

He is also a screenwriter for projects through his own production company, Jovra Films.

He earned a degree in economics form Brandeis University.

Mrs. Douglas is an entertainment and lifestyle reporter, as well as a lifestyle expert for both the Ellen Degeneres talk show "Ellen" and "Good Day L.A." on KTTV-Fox in Los Angeles. She's also worked for E! Entertainment Television and contributed her lifestyle tips to "The View."

She earned a degree in journalism and political science from Oral Roberts University.
