Peter Wolf and Michelle Wolf have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath home at 5849 Filaree Heights in Malibu for $4 million.

The Wolfs paid $1.98 million for the property in July 2001. The 4,197-square-foot house was built in 1965 in Central Malibu. Ellen Francisco of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent of the home.

Wolf is a songwriter, producer, arranger and composer. He has written number one songs including, "Kiss Me", "On My Own", "These Dreams", "Who's Johnny", "Sara", and "We Built This City". He has produced, arranged and/or written for a wide range of musical talents including Jefferson Starship, Commodores, Wang Chung, Kenny Loggins, Santana, Patti LaBelle, The Pointer Sisters, Chicago, Natalie Cole and The Scorpions. He also scored a number of motion pictures including the 1993 hit "Neverending Story III" and "Weekend at Bernie's II".

He studied classical piano at Vienna's Conservatory of Music.
